interesting places enjoying a royal past, rich culture and traditional
legacies.
My Treasures: I

unending Indian history most of my places are historically significant
and are also rich in culture & tradition. These are namely Gwalior,
Orchha, Khajuraho, Bhopal, Sanchi, Jabalpur, Indore, Ujjain, Mandu,
Omareshwar, Maheshwar etc.
Among
the above places three sites have been declared World Heritage Sites by
UNESCO namely Khajuraho temples, Sanchi Stupa and the rock shelters of
Bhimbetka.
My Wild Shelters: I
am blessed with green and deep forest cover maximum in the country. Due
to this deep forest cover, I enjoy the maximum number of nature
reserves and national parks in the country and I call them “my wild
shelters”. I offer some wonderful and world famous national parks on the
earth. These national parks are home to many species of wild animals
where they are well protected and gets natural habitat for their most
natural life. To name a few of them are Kanha national park,
Bandhavgarh, Pench, Satpura, Panna national park etc.
Well

ranges and the Baghelkhand plateau and being rich in wildlife I have
been declared as the TIGER STATE OF INDIA. I hold some of the most
accessible havens for the endangered Leo tigers.
My Pampered Ones- The natural beauty! These
are natural wonders whom I have showered most of my natural beauty with
beautiful hill ranges namely Vindhyas & Satpura and are fed by some
of the Peninsula's major rivers, such as the Narmada and the Mahanadi.
My
two rivers namely Narmada originates from Amarkantk and the Tapti from
Multai, they flow from east to west direction. My other important
rivers namely Sone, Chambal, Betwa, Mahanadi flows from west to east
direction.
The
flowing rivers, the lush green mountains, the dense forests, the
beautiful valleys and the vast plains have provided me the amazing
natural beauty and made me a paradise for travelers. I offer you some
beautiful hill stations which are unexplored and untouched hills namely
Shivpuri, Amakkantak and Pachmarhi. These places offer my lavish
geography.
Jabalpur
offers a beautiful natural wonder where the Narmada river flows between
the seven coloured marble mountains and one can enjoy this beauty on a
boat ride over the Narmada river flowing between the marble mountains.
My Innocent Inhabitants
I am the home of the largest concentration of India's 22 million tribal
people. These innocent inhabitants were driven from the well watered
Gangetic plains by its succession of invaders, took refuge on my soil.
One can see my innocent tribal people at Dindori, Kundam and Kawardha.
I
am always with you to help you in your journey to explore the
mysterious land of mine -India's most rural ,untouched and unspoiled
scenery called “ Mahdya Pradesh”
